Introduction

Streaming live data from OpsRamp involves installing export integration and then creating a stream export.

Prerequisite

Set up stream export integration under Setup > Integrations > Exports.

Installing export integration

Based on your preferences, you can integrate your desired third-party tools with OpsRamp. After successful integration with OpsRamp, you can create stream export to route the live data to the target location in AWS EventBridge.

For example, you can integrate OpsRamp to Amazon EventBridge using export integration to live stream raw alerts from OpsRamp to the target location (AWS S3 bucket) in the Amazon EventBridge.

AWS EventBridge Integration

To integrate OpsRamp with AWS EventBridge:

  1. From All Clients, select a client.
  2. Go to Setup > Integrations > Integrations.
  3. From INTEGRATIONS screen, select the client and navigate to Available Integrations.
  4. From Available Integrations, go to Exports > AWS EventBridge and click Install.
  5. From Install AWS EVENTBRIDGE INTEGRATION, provide the following parameters and click Install:

Creating streaming export

Streaming live data at the client level to the target location from OpsRamp is an easy process via the console. You can select the desired export integration to perform live streaming.
